The fourth house — Sukha Bhava — is the most personal of the kendras. It governs the home, the mother, real estate, vehicles, comforts, education (in its early phases), inner peace, and the heart's foundation. The Moon is the natural karaka. Strong 4th houses give a comfortable home life, supportive mother, accumulated property, and emotional stability. Afflicted 4th houses give domestic discord, estrangement from mother, real-estate losses, and chronic restlessness.
